A Borehole in Mboko, North Cameroon
In an area where there is scarcity of water for much of the year SJAA has financed the drilling of a borehole which has made a huge difference to the women of the area who would otherwise have to spend long hours walking to fetch water.
SJAA will be financing another borehole in a neighbouring area during 2015.
Villagers bring sand and gravel to contribute to the construction of what will be their source of fresh water
Finally water pours forth
The women are ecstatic!
Now they have somewhere nearby to draw clean water
