Grain Mills in Dourum, Cameroon
With the help of the Debenham Trust, SJAA has provided a number of powered grain mills. These mills can be transported easily from area to area and save the local women long walks to the nearest mill. The women themselves orgnaise the milling rota: woe betide anyone who tries to skip the queue!
The first mill is bought in the nearby town
There's a queue to get the grain milled
But it's worth the wait
